We are seeking an experienced
Senior Mainframe System Programmer / Infrastructure Consultant with strong expertise inz/OS system programming, VTAM, software installation, upgrades, and system maintenance.
- Perform standardz/OS system programming activities, including configuration, installation, maintenance, and vendor software implementation.
- ExecuteSMPE and non-SMPE installationsof ISV products.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgradeIBM and Broadcom software products.
- Performz/OS operating system upgrades and RSU maintenance using z/OSMF workflows.
- Architect, install, and configure highly complexz/OS environments and third-party software.
- Support software standardization initiatives and implementation of new mainframe features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system programming and software installation issues.
- Supportstorage management, performance tuning, and capacity planning activities.
- Use z/OS system commands, utilities, and automation tools for system administration and troubleshooting.
- Work with infrastructure and application teams to ensure stable and reliable mainframe operations.
- Expert-level experience withSMPE and Non-SMPE installation of ISV products.
- Strong experience installing and upgradingIBM and Broadcom software products.
- Masteryofz/OS system commands, utilities, and automation tools.
- Strongz/OS system programming experience.
- Experience with VTAMand enterprise mainframe infrastructure.
- Experience supporting complex z/OS environments and third-party software.
