Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/Dev Ops Engineer with extensive experience in CI/CD processes, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Kubernetes, and Docker. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dev Ops practices and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with development and operations teams to enhance our deployment pipelines and improve overall system performance.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Hub Actions to automate deployment processes.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to define and implement best practices for Dev Ops methodologies.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of applications and infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline and container orchestration.
- Document processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our Dev Ops practices.
Skills:
- Proven experience in Dev Ops practices and methodologies.
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Expertise in Kubernetes for orchestration and management of containerized applications.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Skills:
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in Dev Ops or Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
