Job Description
The Messaging Administrator (Contractor) provides operational, technical, and platform support for enterprise messaging technologies across IBM MQ, Confluent Kafka, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and TIBCO. This role is part of the Messaging Production Support Team and is primarily focused on Confluent Kafka administration, while also contributing to support for IBM MQ and TIBCO platforms as needed. The administrator will ensure stability, reliability, and high performance of messaging environments running across Linux Windows.
Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, configuring, supporting Confluent Kafka.

- 5 years of experience in a system support environment working with Confluent Kafka
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across systems
- Experience supporting production environments
- Dynatrace or Splunk experience
- Experience with scripting languages for automation
- Python or Shell - Experience supporting IBM MQ
