Vertex Elite Solutions is seeking an experienced Prisma Access / SASE Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and optimization of Palo Alto’s cloud-delivered security platform. This role is ideal for cybersecurity and network security professionals with hands‑on expertise in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Secure Service Edge (SSE), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and enterprise cloud security architectures.

As a Prisma Access / SASE Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Palo Alto Prisma Access solutions that secure users, applications, and data across distributed enterprise environments. You will work closely with network, cloud, and security teams to design, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize secure connectivity solutions leveraging Prisma Access, Global Protect, and cloud-based security services. The role requires strong expertise in routing, VPN technologies, firewall security, Zero Trust architectures, and cloud networking.

You will participate in network transformation initiatives, security enhancement projects, and operational support activities while ensuring the highest levels of availability, compliance, and protection. This position offers the opportunity to work on advanced cybersecurity solutions in a rapidly evolving enterprise security landscape.

• Design, deploy, configure, and support Palo Alto Prisma Access and Prisma SASE solutions.
• Implement Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Secure Service Edge (SSE) architectures.
• Configure and manage Global Protect remote access and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) environments.
• Administer Prisma Access security policies, routing configurations, and connectivity services.
• Manage firewall policies, threat prevention, URL filtering, and secure access controls.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPN and SSL VPN connectivity.
• Support dynamic routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• Manage Palo Alto Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager environments.
• Implement SWG (Secure Web Gateway), CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), and FWaaS (Firewall as a Service) capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams on secure network architecture initiatives.
• Develop technical documentation, security standards, and operational procedures.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto Networks security technologies.
• Proven expertise implementing and managing Prisma Access and Prisma SASE environments.
• Deep understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Secure Service Edge (SSE) architectures.
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Global Protect remote access solutions.
• Experience managing Palo Alto Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager platforms.
• Hands‑on expertise with IPsec VPN and SSL VPN technologies.
• Strong understanding of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience administering Next‑Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewall policy management, and secure connectivity frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification.
• Experience with Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) implementations.
• Knowledge of Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud networking and security.
• Familiarity with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
