Senior Azure DevOps, Cloud Platform Engineer

• Evolve the enterprise Dev Ops platform, cloud automation capabilities, CI/CD standards, and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Design, implement, and support Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and AWS Cloud Formation
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS
• Develop cloud deployment standards and operational runbooks
• Design, build, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Implement deployment quality gates, automated validations, and compliance controls
• Support and optimize enterprise Azure services and cloud-native deployment patterns
• Support and maintain AWS workloads and hybrid-cloud/multi-cloud integration patterns
• Support cloud cost optimization and operational governance initiatives
• Implement Dev Sec Ops  controls, security scanning, vulnerability assessments, and policy validation
• Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements for insurance and financial services environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across cloud platforms
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support
• Develop operational documentation and platform standards
• Champion continuous improvement and modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cloud Engineering, application development teams, security teams, and technology partners
• Report to the Head of IT Architecture

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure Dev Ops administration and implementation experience
• Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines
• Strong expertise with Azure Dev Ops, Git, Terraform, Bicep, Power Shell, Azure CLI, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience supporting Azure cloud services and cloud-native applications
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience working across multiple technical teams and stakeholders
• Ability to independently own the Dev Ops function, manage transitions, and support multiple delivery teams
• AWS experience supporting production cloud environments preferred
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, Cloud Formation, and Cloud Watch preferred
• Experience implementing Dev Sec Ops  programs and security automation preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise application modernization initiatives preferred
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry preferred
• Azure and/or AWS certifications preferred
• Experience supporting platform engineering, internal developer platforms, or self-service cloud capabilities preferred

Demonstrates expertise in Dev Ops practices, cloud automation, and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and Azure Dev Ops. Capable of designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines while ensuring compliance and security in cloud environments.
