Job Summary
The Sr Procurement Analyst supports the Procurement organization by ensuring accurate data management, vendor performance reporting, and adherence to organizational policies and financial controls. This role supports construction operations for OSP (Outside Plant) and Fiber groups by managing vendor onboarding, procurement data, reporting, and workflow coordination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive procurement activities.
ResponsibilitiesProcurement Operations & Compliance
- Enforce organizational procurement policies, financial controls, and compliance standards across a multi-site region.
- Investigate discrepancies, resolve vendor issues, and document outcomes for leadership review.
- Maintain detailed records to support audits and operational transparency.
- Ensure accountability and accuracy within procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain vendor scorecards using reporting tooling and existing data.
- Analyze vendor performance, costs, and trends to support decision-making.
- Identify cost-saving and risk-reduction opportunities through data analysis and vendor engagement.
- Support vendor onboarding for OSP and Fiber construction teams.
- Request, track, and validate quotes, pricing, and cost information.
- Track orders and deliveries to ensure field operational readiness.
- Coordinate materials, vendors, and stakeholders to avoid project delays.
- Manage high-volume workflows in Jira, prioritizing time-sensitive requests and escalations.
- Perform procurement data entry and administrative tasks.
- Learn and utilize internal procurement and financial systems as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role (4+ years preferred).
- Data Visualization experience for data analysis and vendor scorecard development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Office 365 tools.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Procurement or vendor management experience.
- Familiarity with construction, OSP, Fiber, or telecommunications environments.
- Experience working with Jira or similar workflow tools.
- Exposure to audit support or financial controls.
