Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Procurement Consultant for a temporary assignment in Plano, TX.

This is a 12‑month contract. The pay range for this role is between $30 and $35 per hour. Benefits:

Toyota North America’s Indirect Procurement Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated procurement analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the creation and execution of category procurement strategies, including but not limited to facilities management
.

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager and in support of Toyota’s Future of Mobility, the person in this role will support the IPSS (Indirect Procurement Shared Services) department objective to provide innovative, stable and flexible solutions with industry‑leading practices to reduce costs and mitigate risks.

• Facilitating multi‑year sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories.
• Designing, planning, managing, and leading key RFPs, information requests, quotes, etc. with cross‑functional teams.
• Supporting the development and execution of contractual documents including NDA, Professional Services Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Software License Agreements, and other contracts as necessary.
• Collaborating closely with key business stakeholders and supplier partners to understand current conditions, identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and deliver enhancements to improve quality and productivity.
• Providing detailed documentation of how the applications/projects will support business requirements.
• Identifying innovative options to achieve business benefits.
• Effectively diagnosing issues and identifying root cause and countermeasures.
• Negotiating pricing and achieving cost savings while mitigating financial and legal risks for the enterprise.
• Effectively managing all sourcing and price negotiation activities and incoming ad‑hoc business unit requests that may result in a contract or purchase order.
• In Ariba PTP System
  , reviewing and analyzing business requests to issue purchase orders to suppliers.

• Exceptional analytic, organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills with applied solid judgement and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work independently and successfully manage several projects and/or tasks of varying complexities simultaneously while balancing the workload, constraints and deliverables.
• Strong collaboration, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills.
• Experience gathering business, functional/technical requirements, and implementing relevant solutions.
• Experience with, but not limited to, procurement of facility management services, software and related technology services.
• Demonstrated success influencing key stakeholders on strategic direction based on recommendations backed by in‑depth analysis.
• Demonstrated experience investigating root causes for production critical incidents, and implementation of countermeasures.
• Experience with troubleshooting complex integrated applications/processes.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers.
• Experience with Ariba PTP System.

• 5 or more years’ experience in Indirect Sourcing.
• Contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Ability to work with large, distributed teams with diverse competencies, skills, and ability to work in fast‑paced/high‑pressure culture.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Analytical skills to build business solutions to best support business vision and strategy.
