Procurement Manager

• Manage a team of 25 people responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and services required for elevator manufacturing operations.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for mechanical, electrical, electronics, and structural components used in elevator systems.
• Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and competitive bidding to achieve best‑cost sourcing solutions.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and long‑term agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as delivery adherence, quality, cost, and responsiveness.
• Manage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in the ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc.), ensuring timely procurement of materials to support production schedules and new product development.
• Coordinate with logistics for inbound deliveries and customs clearance (if applicable).
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, part shortages, and discrepancies.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and localization initiatives.
• Work closely with engineering to develop alternative materials or suppliers.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to understand material requirements.
• Address quality issues and support root‑cause analysis with suppliers.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) projects for sourcing new components.

• Engineering graduate (preferred).
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply‑chain management.
• 5+ years of experience managing a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication, machining, casting, and electronics.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
• Knowledge of Should Costing, cost breakdown analysis, and supplier audits.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Annual base salary range: $100,000 to $130,000. Total compensation, including benefits and equity, will be determined by experience, location, and other factors.

Los Angeles, California and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania candidates are not eligible for this role. Plano, TX area candidates are eligible only.
