Overview

The Sr. Manager, Warehouse Administration is responsible for providing leadership and management of supply chain to ensure that materials move effectively through the warehouse in support of NTFB’s meal goals, in compliance with regulations and procedures and to minimize waste.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • HACCP Certification preferred
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multi‑task
  • Advanced level of operational knowledge with Microsoft Office applications, focusing on PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools preferred
  • Application of KPIs for operational success
Experience
  • 5 years in supply chain operations management
  • Developing, implementing and continuously improving operational processes
  • Hands‑on warehouse experience required, including prior experience with inventory management systems and knowledge of manufacturing or food product warehousing techniques
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for taking an unpredictable inbound supply of food and turning it into a predictable and stable outbound supply of food while minimizing cost and maximizing inventory turns
  • Develop data‑driven viewpoints on relevant operational topics
  • Design and develop reporting to monitor forecast of inventory levels
  • Ensure inventory levels are on target for on‑hand quantity and turns and daily item availability supports customer demand and production needs
  • Administer Logistics’ inventory, warehouse, and order management systems while collaborating with Information Technology, Finance, and Business Intelligence
  • Manage teams responsible for the day‑to‑day supply chain function, along with creating, modifying and documenting all processes and work aids for inventory transactions, customer orders and invoices, order fulfillment process, production management, invoicing and returns
  • Collaborate with Sourcing Team to ensure effective procurement of necessary items for forecasted production builds and projects to maintain proper inventory and throughput
  • Spearhead FEMA, MCTF, Feeding Texas/Feeding America, Dallas County disaster coordination
  • Consistent and effective integration of efforts across all warehouse functions:
    Receiving, Distribution, and Transportation to ensure availability and quality of product, order fulfillment accuracy, and timely transport of product to clients
  • Define and document SOPs for all inventory, receiving, production & distribution transactions and ensure all systems are functioning and being utilized appropriately, according to established procedures
  • Develop and monitor annual department operating budget to ensure compliance with all cost objectives
  • Design and develop project plans, process improvements and policies
  • Create, present and facilitate regular business reviews of operations with executive leadership
  • Conduct root cause analysis and ownership of operational corrective action plans throughout the supply chain
  • Responsible for managing NTFB waste streams to ensure that NTFB meets its fiscal year waste goals
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Leads a team of approximately 7 direct reports
