What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Technician II
, you’ll be on a team keeping our client’s building safe, functional, and running at its best. Your day will include a mix of preventative maintenance, hands‑on repairs, inspections, and helping keep the facility in top shape.

Your Core Responsibilities
  • Perform routine building maintenance – HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life‑safety systems, and other key equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair leaks, electrical issues, and general mechanical problems
  • Jump on maintenance requests with a positive attitude and excellent customer service
  • Set up and break down rooms for meetings and events – tables, chairs
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks like system checks and visual inspections
  • Keep clear, accurate notes on work orders, inspections, and any repairs you complete
  • Keep an eye on building systems and report anything that looks off
  • Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas
  • Support team with projects or facility upgrades – working alongside vendors or contractors
  • Follow all safety rules and use the proper PPE
  • Keep learning – stay up to date with building systems and maintenance best practices
  • Assist with snow or ice removal when needed
  • Knowledgeable of BAS, UPS, ATS, and generator systems
Other Ways You’ll Contribute
  • Great communication with the team, vendors, and other departments
  • Use a computerized work‑order database to complete and close assignments
  • Occasionally take after‑hours emergency calls
  • Be open to overtime when needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities operations, or similar hands‑on roles
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Great customer service – communicate well and stay professional under pressure
  • Self‑starter who can work independently, but also loves being part of a team
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable standing, climbing ladders, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working safely
