Position

Porter

Responsibilities
  • Lifts 80‑100 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Inspects property each morning and removes trash or litter from the grounds.
  • Keeps mail rooms clean—picks up trash, sweeps floors, removes dated notices from bulletin boards, etc.
  • Replaces light bulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
  • Replaces all first‑floor window screens upon request.
  • Assists with apartment make‑readies—trashes vacant units, caulks, checks appliances and smoke detectors, replaces parts, etc.
  • Clears air‑conditioning vents and replaces filters in all vacant apartments.
  • Installs, moves, and hooks up appliances.
  • Replaces air filters as scheduled for all occupied apartments.
  • Clean pools—hoses down the area, clears trash, straightens chairs, etc.
  • Performs light painting duties as directed.
  • Clears vacant apartments between residents.
  • Assists the Lead Service Manager or Service Technician as requested.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Available for after‑hours emergencies on call.
  • May require a valid driver’s license.
