The Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, ensures the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities through routine preventive maintenance and timely repairs. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing major and minor repairs, and overseeing less-experienced associates. The position requires managing maintenance schedules, coordinating contractors, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures following established schedules.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair facilities and equipment using multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Lead and oversee work of less-experienced associates, providing hands‑on training and guidance on safety and system operations.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and contractor relationships to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and company vehicles in accordance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Document maintenance activities, compile budget information, and submit warranty claims as required.

• Proven experience in facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.
• Proficiency in multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment operation.
• Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and powered equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong leadership capabilities to oversee projects, mentor associates, and manage contractors.
• Competence in managing maintenance schedules, work orders, parts inventory, and budget reporting.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and support continuous improvement.
