Senior Property Manager

Our Client is seeking to move from a 3rd party management model to a owner/manage model and needs a talented Sr. Property Manager to take them there! If you have experience building a property management department from ground floor up, let's connect today!

Candidates for this role MUST come from commercial retail "big box" and/or "anchor" property management. Only candidates with this experience will be contacted about the role.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 10+ years minimum experience specifically in shopping center management - must have anchored property management such as a chain of grocery store and shopping center management; properties such as Ross, Marshalls, Dicks Sporting Goods, etc.
• The ability to have oversight of 8 plus large retail properties is a must
• Experience with building a property management department from scratch to include systems, procedures, workflows, hiring and overseeing staff; vendor contract negotiation and management, etc.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of managing demanding tenants and vendors
• Possess a high degree of organization. Able to prioritize efficiently
• Capable of handling many tasks simultaneously and working with several people at once
• Great leadership skills. Able to mentor and inspire those around them
• Highly capable of anticipating problems and issues, determining possible solutions and implementing a plan of action
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient in reading and understanding financials, P&L, balance sheet as they pertain to the management of the shopping centers
• Must be open to travel, both by car and air
