IT Project Manager

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of assigned projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, goals, and adherence to budget, quality standards, and project management best practices. The successful hire will have a background in leading full‑cycle Success Factors Software projects.
Essential Functions- Lead larger scale, complex Success Factors Software implementation projects for customers.
- Serve as the single point of contact for customer projects.
- Create and manage the project plan.
- Manage resourcing, staffing, and budget for customer projects.
- Track and manage project progress in terms of scope, budget, and timelines.
- Identify and document scope changes for Change Request/Change Order documentation and approval management.
- Maintain a hands‑on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are completed on time.
- Manage escalations, identifying the root cause, creating action plans, and responsible for containment/monitoring of escalations.
- Simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects that vary in scope and size.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Project Management processes and tools.
- PMP certification required within 12 months of beginning Project Management role.
- Hands‑on experience leading software implementation projects as part of the Project Management team.
- 5+ years of experience implementing Success Factors Software (including at least several high‑complex >30,000 employees projects experience).
- 10 years’ previous experience in professional services or consulting industry, change management or business transformation projects, managing projects involving integrations, data migration, or complex technical landscapes, and working on several projects at the same time.
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
- PMP, Prince2, Agile, and/or SCRUM Certification.
- Project Manager PMP Certifications (preferred).
- Experience implementing global Success Factors projects.
- Experience managing projects that include Success Factors modules/areas:
Success Factors Software. - ERP implementation experience.
- People Management responsibilities on a PMO or software development team.
Experience:
>10 YEARS.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $185,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
