Position SummaryReporting directly to the Head of Property Management for a national Real Estate developer, the Multifamily Operations Manager works independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative, clerical and operational support duties. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts. Expected to build an extensive knowledge of the Southern Land Property Management policies and procedures.
This is a great opportunity to play an important role in a real estate company with a growing national footprint with a yearly salary of $95k to $100k.
- Manage the SVP Property Management project list, facilitating project completion, keeping initiatives on task, and coordinating with the SVP and steering committee as needed.
- Provide regular and consistent quality‑control checks for key areas of the business, escalating concerns to the Director or SVP for action, including but not limited to:
- Circulating monthly reputation management summaries with Directors & SVP, highlighting areas of focus.
- Reviewing Collections dashboards to flag non‑compliance or missed submissions.
- Ensuring the Regional Director audits and inspections are completed.

AI open tasks to ensure global adoption & upkeep. - Ensuring timely expense report submission for SVP direct reports.
- Monitoring L&D training compliance and funneling up non compliance.
- Approve Yardi payables on behalf of the Head of Property Management within allowed parameters and written approval.
- Monitor real estate licensing compliance and tracking by market, coordinating with local Directors on non‑compliance or renewal timelines.
- Approve expense reports on behalf of the Head of Property Management, escalating concerning purchases or trends requiring attention.
- Enter SVP/President expense reports timely (at a minimum of monthly), requesting receipts as needed.
- Approve PTO requests on behalf of the Head of Property Management, ensuring PTO is added to the direct supervisor & PM team calendar.
- Work with HR on coordination of UKG entries for SVP or President direct‑report promotions, raises, transfers, or terminations.
- Manage call schedules for the Property Management leadership team and coordinate agenda creation, circulation, and follow‑up materials.
- Participate in bi‑weekly Property Management calls, including by not limited to monthly Community Manager calls, bi‑weekly Director calls, and quarterly Multifamily Town Hall calls to document meeting minutes and facilitate next steps and follow‑up.
- Coordinate and participate in quarterly in‑person Director meetings including communications, calendar invitations, event logistics, and agenda coordination.
- Maintain the Property Management SharePoint site including file migration, organization, and access management through coordination with T&I to ensure cross‑functional accessibility.
- Manage Property Management organizational charts and Outlook address books.
- Manage floating employee calendar coordination on behalf of the SVP, including roving resources such as Ambassadors or Regional Leasing and Performance Specialist.
- Assist in drafting, publishing, and updating Property Management SOPs.
- Assist in sending teamwide communications or calendar invites on behalf of the SVP as requested.
- Coordinate corporate team member onboarding with Talent Acquisition, including equipment ordering, new‑hire gifts, office and phone setup, business cards, corporate card and Travel Bank setup, and other onboarding needs.
- Assist in creation and maintenance of onboarding guides for onsite and corporate team members.
- Manage the Ambassador program including applicant management, coordination of leadership selection, communication, and scheduling.
