As a Principal, Project Manager at Capital One, you will lead critical and strategic business projects, working closely with key stakeholders to deliver results that directly impact the company’s bottom line. • Work on medium to large‑scale complex, cross‑departmental projects with direct impact on the company.
• Drive cross‑functional projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope, deliverables, timelines, and budget are met; identify risks and issues, mitigate or escalated as needed; manage complex up‑and downstream project impacts.
• Plan, design, manage, and execute project plans to ensure delivery through feasibility, design, planning, and implementation phases.
• Apply problem‑solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery.
• Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments and alignment on intent.
• Lead and manage meetings; document progress and report to stakeholders on project status.
• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
• Show a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly structure and manage the work.
• Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite.
• At least 3 years of Project Management, Process Management, or Relationship Management experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Relationship Management.
• PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.

Plano, TX: $109,900 – $125,400 for Principal Project Manager. This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
