Job Summary

The Director, Crude Oil & Finished Products, will oversee all Delek Logistics Midstream technical support and regulatory compliance functions, lead and motivate a team of 5‑7 direct reports, and ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and productivity. The role requires strategic thinking, risk management, and the ability to drive value in an uncertain, changing environment.

Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in midstream technical, operations, or management roles within the midstream or Oil & Gas industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, operating excellence best practices, and commercial practices for downstream and/or Oil & Gas operations.
Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience
  • Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a closely related field.
  • Professional Engineering Licensure or a related license.
  • Experience in M&A, integration, asset disposal, corporate and large project governance, value chain and portfolio management, and regulatory risk oversight.
  • Experience with change management, organizational excellence, innovation initiatives, and management turnarounds.

  • Lead the Technical Department employees, including Engineers, Loss Prevention, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, and non‑routine maintenance crafts, providing technical guidance and prioritization of projects.
  • Provide guidance on interpreting operating asset data, monitor performance, recommend operating guidelines, and estimate remaining maintenance and compliance requirements.
  • Instrumental in operating excellence and collaboration with other departments to advance asset health monitoring philosophy, tools, and cadence.
  • Identify and develop succession candidates for critical leadership roles and key management positions.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with regulatory commissions/authorities.
  • Coordinate assessments of internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop programs and processes to manage compliance cases and implement improvements to avoid future complaints.
  • Prepare and sponsor testimony to government or regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct regular performance review feedback, including the annual formal review process, and provide constructive feedback to drive accountability.
  • Monitor and analyze operating results continuously to maintain excellent performance.
  • Regularly visit all sites to monitor successful performance.
  • Drive profitability and results through operational efficiency, workforce and asset planning, and best industry practices across all business units.
  • Develop and implement investment and operational strategies including infrastructure, equipment, technology, capital, maintenance, and personnel resources.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards, including environmental, regulatory, HR, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance policies.
  • Perform special tasks that contribute to the Company’s strategic objectives as assigned.
