Project Management & Asset Management Manager Summary
Seeking an experienced Project Management & Asset Management Manager to oversee and optimize our US real estate portfolio as an LP. This role is responsible for managing development projects, enhancing asset performance, conducting financial analysis, and overseeing operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and hands‑on property management expertise.
Essential Duties- Oversee all stages of development projects including site planning, feasibility, design, construction, leasing, and disposition
- Serve as the primary liaison among architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to support investment decisions
- Develop and review financial models and cash flow projections
- Travel within the U.S. for site inspections and partner meetings
- Prepare reports, budgets, and performance analyses
- Ensure risk management and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with Tokyo headquarters and report to Japanese executives and U.S. leadership
- Manage developers and general contractors to optimize schedule, cost, and quality
- Execute asset management strategies to maximize value and NOI
- Oversee leasing activities, tenant relations, and contract negotiations
- Identify opportunities for asset improvement and repositioning
Full‑time (Exempt). Standard business hours with flexibility required depending on project needs and travel.
Working LocationPlano, TX
Salary / Benefit$150-180K (DOE) + Bonus. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and other standard benefits.
HolidaysStandard U.S. holidays + company‑designated holidays.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in development management and/or asset management (multi‑family preferred)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience with U.S. real estate regulations and property management systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple assets and report to both U.S. and Japan leadership
- Professional certifications such as CPM, CCIM, or RICS
- Experience with commercial, residential, or mixed‑use properties
- Strong network within the U.S. real estate industry
