Salary: $118,016 – $177,024 annually (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Annual Incentive Bonus: Up to 17.5%

A leading North Texas acute care hospital is seeking an experienced Administrative Director of Women & Children's Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for a comprehensive maternal-child health service line. This executive leadership role oversees Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum, and maternal-child designation programs while driving quality outcomes, physician engagement, service line growth, and leadership development.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative healthcare leader with deep experience in women's and children's services, strong physician relationship-building skills, and a passion for developing high-performing leaders and teams.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Women & Children's Services.
- Direct Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum, and maternal‑child designation programs.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards that promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Lead service line growth initiatives and support business development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with physicians and interdisciplinary stakeholders.
- Oversee departmental budgets, staffing plans, resource allocation, and financial performance.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and staff engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate quality improvement programs and designation readiness efforts.
- Promote patient‑centered care, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Participate in community outreach, educational initiatives, and strategic planning activities.
- Ensure departments achieve organizational goals related to quality, safety, growth, and employee engagement.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS Certification
- National Specialty Certification
- Minimum 10 years of recent nursing experience in Women's Services, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Pediatrics, PICU, or related specialties
- Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex service lines
- Executive‑level maternal‑child leadership experience
- Experience with maternal and neonatal designation programs
- Strong physician engagement and relationship‑building experience
- Track record of leadership development and succession planning
- Service line growth and strategic planning experience
- Labor & Delivery: 21 Beds
- Postpartum/Couplet Care: 34 Beds
- Level IV NICU: 41 Beds
- Approximately 2,800 annual deliveries
- Oversight of:

- Maternal Level IV Designation Team
- NICU Level IV Designation Team
- Approximately 175 FTEs
- Direct oversight of 3 department managers
- Nurse staffing based on AWHONN standards
