Account Director

This position will report directly to the Management Director. The Account Director is a lead position and requires connection, coordination, and collaboration with multiple disciplines including performance media strategy and activation, creative, client management and field operations. This position involves senior client management as well as liaising with Agency teams about client objectives to ensure campaigns are fully integrated, on strategy and on equity.

The work is high-energy, collaborative, and thrives on a can-do attitude with strong relationship building and problem-solving skills. The role includes management of supervisors, junior to mid-level Account Executives as well as client operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage DSplus Strategy, Application(s) and assets for National Retail Client Partner
  • Strong oversight into performance media tactics and strategies to ensure campaign objectives are met
  • Collaboration with fellow AD for cross-tier strategy implementation
  • Regularly gather/prepare all necessary materials and conduct Client meetings both in person (Plano, TX) and remote
  • Support Management Director on all larger Client initiatives
  • Manage supporting team members
Qualifications
  • This AD must have a thorough knowledge of the Client's business and demonstrate an on-going commitment and response to his or her Clients' needs
  • As primary Client contact, the AD will be required to forge positive relationships with his or her Clients through consistent contact and diligent client service which will include monthly travel for in-person meetings with National Clients
  • This AD will be required to build solid relations and work effectively with people in other departments to achieve optimal results
  • 7-10 years of Direct Client Management is a must, including 3 years of management experience
  • Experience and background with Automotive Retail clients, particularly with Fixed Operations is a must
  • Experience with retail eCommerce performance marketing efforts is a plus, but not required
  • Needs to demonstrate experience working with reporting tools and analytics
  • Knowledge of integrated disciplines (Direct Marketing, Interactive, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Lifestyle Marketing, Collateral, and Merchandising) is a plus but not required
  • Prior experience in digital advertising and programming is a plus, but not required
  • Prior experience with Google Analytics, Tableau, Asana, Salesforce and Monday is a plus but not required
