Renesas is hiring aSr. Staff Project/Program Designto join our market-leading AI and infrastructure power team, driving explosive growth across a portfolio ofcutting-edge solutions for datacenter, Artificial Intelligence (AI), high-performance networking, and Edge AI client markets.

This team delivers industry-defining products including digital multiphase PWM controllers, smart power stages, high-density power modules, DC/DC regulators, and discrete MOSFETs. As aSr. Staff Program Manager,you’llplay a pivotal role in bringing these technologies to market–partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution, strategic alignment, and ramp readiness.

Job Description

Leadcross‑functional teams across Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Firmware/Software, Supply Chain, Procurement, Packaging, and Quality to ensure seamless execution of NPI product releases.

Manageend‑to‑end program planning, tracking, and execution–from concept through market launch, including ramp readiness and safe launch activity.

Ensure process discipline, budget alignment, and execution efficiency whilemaintainingfocus on priority deliverables and driving global process standardization.

Leadcapacity‑expansioninitiatives across global manufacturing sites, aligning Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to support scalable production.

Coordinate and conduct formal Project Gate reviews to ensure alignment, readiness, and decision clarity.

Motivate and guidecross‑functional teams toward flawless execution, positive ROI, and disciplined,data‑driven decision‑making.

Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies,demonstratingagility and adaptability in complex, ambiguous environments.

Oversee wafer fabrication, assembly, test operations, and materiallogisticsto ensuretimelyexecution, cost efficiency, high quality, and smooth project flow.

Communicate clearly withcross‑functional teams and stakeholdersregardingmilestones, sample delivery timelines, reliability testing, and product release status.

Build strong internal and external relationships, reinforcing accountability and alignment through consistent, transparent communication.

Provide structured program updates to leadership, highlighting project status, risks, and recommended actions whilemaintainingaccurateschedules, qualification plans, and PM tracking systems.

Drive process scalability and standardization initiatives to strengthen execution discipline across programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
PhD preferred.

Minimum
12+ years of Semiconductor industry experience with strong knowledge of the full product lifecycle. At least 6+ years as an NPI Program Manager; experience with Module and Smart Power Stages programs preferred.

Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flowsincluding development, production processes, package architectures, and diverse package types. Prior experience at afabor assembly site as a process or integration engineer is a strong plus.

Demonstrated success leading complex,cross‑functional programs infast‑paced, ambiguous environments; supported by foundational program/project management training or certification.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and partnership skills across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and OSAT partners.

Highly analytical with strong organizational,problem‑solving,time‑management, and multitasking abilities.

Fast learner with the ability to adopt new tools, systems, and processes; proficient in Microsoft Office and modern project management tools.

Self‑driven, inquisitive, and committed to continuous personal and professional development.
