Lead and develop teams by coaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Drive store operations, customer service, merchandising, and change initiatives aligned with company direction. Ensure clear expectations and guidance for business solutions and communicate objectives to teams.

• Model and demonstrate customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
• Manage and support customer service initiatives including community outreach and programs; resolve customer needs and issues; develop action plans to correct deficiencies; lead process improvements.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensure appropriate merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
• Mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals in the designated business area.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize performance, and promote a culture of belonging; recruit and develop qualified staff to meet staffing needs.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans, setting goals, and measuring progress.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics by applying Open Door Policy and guiding on business processes and practices.

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For firearms-selling facilities: successful completion of a firearms-specific criminal background check and training may be required.
• Associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U) or equivalent; experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
