Thisopportunityentailsbeingresponsibleforservingasthelocationleaderforthe Plano,Texaslocationwithinthe North Texas –Arkansas Office.
Thelocationleaderreportstothe North Texas –Arkansas Office Leaderandservesonthe Office Management Team .Thelocationleaderisresponsibleforoversightofthe Plano,Texasgeographiclocation,aswellasHNTB’sCollin Countyandthenorthernareasofthe Dallas ‑Fort Worth(DFW)
Metroplexoperations,includingmarketandbusinessdevelopment;qualityandtechnicaldelivery;client,civicandcommunityrelationships;government relations;andleadershipandstaffcoordinationsoastooperatewithintheestablishedgoalsandbudgetsforthe
North
Texas–Arkansas Office.
ThelocationleaderisalsoresponsibleforleadingthedevelopmentandexecutionofnorthernDFWMetroplex-focusedclientprograms,pursuitsandprojectswhilebuildingandmaintainingeffectiveandmeaningfulclientrelationships.
Thelocationleaderwillprovideguidance,collaborationandoversightofthestrategicdirection(includingthedevelopmentofthestrategicplan),prioritiesandeffectivenessofthenorthernDFWMetroplex-focusedHNTBClient Service Teamsincludingthe Texas Department of Transportation ,theNorth Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA),Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) andcityandcountymunicipalclients.
Overseesmarketandbusinessdevelopment;clientandgovernmentrelations;brandbuildingandindustry,civic,universityandcommunityengagement;sourcing,recruitingandretentionofstaff;anddevelopmentofstaffandculturewithintheoffice.
Servesasthelocal"face"andkeypointofcontactforHNTBleadershipinthegeographiclocation.
Servesasprimarydriverofgrowthandvisionforthegeographiclocation–ownershipoverlocation’sbrand,sales,revenue,FTEs,industry/clients/civic/university/community engagement,GR,strategicplanningandimplementation.
Agnosticontechnicaldiscipline;focusesongrowingalldisciplinesthatprovidestronggrowthopportunitiesforthelocation.
Engagesandperformsoversightormanagementofclientprograms,pursuitsandprojectmanagementactivities(client audits/debriefs;project scope,schedule,budgetandqualitymanagementanddelivery;clientprogramandpursuitdiscoveryandstrategy) forHNTBMegaand Super Megapursuitsandprojects .Mayserveasprojectmanagerorpursuitchampion.
Coordinatesstrategyandinitiativesinthemarket,includingcoordinatingbestpracticesandleading
Client Service Client Service Teamsrelevanttothelocation .Sources,recruitsandretainstalentincoordinationandpartnershipwithofficedisciplineleaders.
Coaches,mentorsandadvocatesforalllocationstaff.
Helpsfacilitatelocationworkshareneedsincoordinationwith Group Directors ,Department Manager sand Section Managers .Assures4for4deliveryandbudgetperformanceforthelocationincoordinationandpartnershipwithdisciplineleaders.
Assistswiththedevelopmentandimplementationoftheofficegroup’sstrategicplan,aswellastheofficeoperatingbudget.
Performsotherdutiesasassigned.
Bachelor’sdegreein
Engineering,Architecture,Planning,orrelatedfieldand
12yearsofpracticalexperienceincluding4yearsofprojectand/orpeoplemanagementinaclientfacingrole.
RelevantexperienceasanHNTBClient Service Leaderor Project Manageron Megaor Super Megaprojectsintheapplicablegeographicmarket
What We Prefer :Master’sdegree
15yearspracticalexperience6yearssupervisoryexperience
Professional
Engineer(PE) certification
