The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned, motivated, strategic, and technically proficient Project Manager to lead complex environmental projects and assist in mentoring our growing team. This is a high-impact role requiring expertise in Texas regulatory programs and a commitment to client advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and assist in complex environmental site assessments (Phase IIs) and remediation projects from inception to completion.
- Financial Oversight: Create and manage project budgets, profitability margins, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal health.
- Regulatory Strategy: Develop and execute closure strategies involving TCEQ and RRC programs, including the VCP, IOP, CA, and LPST programs.
- Technical Review: Serve as the final point of quality control for technical reports, ensuring compliance with TRRP, PST Guidance, Whitehead
E. S., and Client standards. - Client Advocacy: Maintain high-level communication with real estate developers, industrial owners, and stakeholders, serving as their expert guide through regulatory hurdles.
- Scheduling: Balancing multiple schedules and ensuring projects remain on the schedule needed for both the Client and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting project management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Soil Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar/related fields (Master's preferred).
- Licensure: P. G., P.
E., and/or CAPM preferred. - Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of TRRP and PST regulations.
