Regional Manager
The Regional Manager will be responsible for the oversight of multiple fitness clubs, consistently driving revenue and overall operations to ensure an exceptional member experience as well as a financially successful club. The Regional Manager will be accountable for leading a team of general managers in a positive, motivating manner with continuous assistance in operational, financial and staff training and development.
This position requires a leader who is results-oriented and committed to quality service.
Essential duties include ensuring the region is fully staffed, partnering with general managers for their development, driving revenue, working cross functionally with other regional team members and marketing, maximizing member retention, managing expense goals, ensuring cleanliness and education, understanding local competition, recruiting and training new general managers, promoting CLUB4 Fitness within the communities, and managing team members to ensure strong communication.
The position reports directly to the executive in charge of club operations or Managing Partner.
QualificationsRequired qualifications include being hard working, goal oriented, and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic and strong decision-making skills. The candidate should be a self-starter with superior customer service skills, strong supervisory, diplomacy, and listening skills, and a high degree of professionalism and organizational skills. They should also have strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
Knowledge of purchasing/sales web-based programming and fitness software is required, as well as computer proficiency and Microsoft Office Suite skills. A strong track record of successfully executing on directives and meeting key strategic initiatives is necessary, along with driving top line revenue and the ability to hire, train, and build successful teams. Honesty, personal integrity, passion for the fitness industry, and the ability to lead and inspire a wide group of individuals are also required.
Proven financial, business, and human resource management skills are preferred. Ability to travel to all clubs within assigned region as well as other clubs, as needed.
Minimum certifications/education/experience level include five (5) years in management roles, with demonstrated responsibility for multiple locations or responsibility over at least five (5) direct reports, preferably in a high-volume fitness, hospitality, or retail environment. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; 2- or 4-year degree is preferred; ten (10) years of supervisory experience may be substituted for advanced education as a preference.
Must be CPR/AED certified.
