Job - Program Manager
PROGRAM AND CUSTOMER LEADERSHIP- Own program outcomes against schedule (on time), cost (on budget), and scope (on spec) while looking ahead to minimize future program risk
- Serve as the primary point of contact and internal advocate for assigned customer accounts, building trusted relationships that support long term account growth
- Lead customer facing program reviews, providing clear and accurate status on deliverables, open issues, and risks
- Manage new program launches from quote through first article and into steady state production, ensuring a smooth transition at each phase
- Translate customer requirements into internal action plans that align engineering, quality, and production priorities
- Interface daily with engineering, quality, production planning, procurement, and shop floor leadership to keep assigned programs moving
- Coordinate engineering changes, first article inspections, and corrective actions with the appropriate functional owners
- Partner with production planning and scheduling to align capacity, tooling, and material availability to program timelines
- Support supplier and vendor coordination for outsourced processes, purchased components, and outside services
- Represent program needs and constraints in internal operations reviews and capacity planning discussions
- Travel to the Bonham facility approximately one to two days per week, depending on assigned program, to maintain direct visibility into production and cross-site coordination
- Maintain program schedules, action item logs, and open issue trackers, keeping cross-functional teams and customers aligned
- Monitor program cost performance against budget, escalating and resolving variances before they affect delivery
- Identify program risks early and drive mitigation plans in partnership with engineering and operations leadership
- Track and report key program metrics, including on-time delivery, quality performance, and cost, to leadership
- Maintain documentation discipline appropriate to regulated or compliance-driven customer requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of demonstrable program or project management performance in a relevant field
- Direct experience with physical product development, product testing, or manufacturing new product introduction
- Ability to lead technical program execution from within a cross-functional team, without formal authority over every function involved
- Experience with regulated, compliance-driven, or documentation-heavy product environments, such as aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing, is a plus
- Comfortable operating in both a startup and corporate format to match the needs of a diverse customer base
- Ability to operate in a fast growing, fast moving company with evolving tools and processes
- Customer-facing professionalism suitable for serving as a program-level point of contact
- Detail oriented, organized, and disciplined in follow through on schedules, action items, and deliverables
- Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems used for production scheduling and program tracking is a plus
- PMP certification or equivalent program management training is a plus
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.08 - $51.71/hr.
