Adecco is actively seeking a Mechanical Assembly Associate for high-quality printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies. Must be detail-oriented and efficient! This is a first shift, 7:45 AM-4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Pay depends on experience.

Brief

Job Summary:
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical components using various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality production.

  • Hourly, non-exempt, full-time position

Typically

Reports to:
  • Lead, production manager, management, and other key personnel
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident.

  • Must have the ability to work efficiently and work well in a team environment.

  • Must be punctual and have good attendance.

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED, or Previous experience in electro-mechanical assembly or PCB manufacturing

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Must be able to read technical drawings and schematics.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of various electronic components

  • At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience

Physical Demands and Activity:
  • Use of hands and tools to properly perform the job.

  • Lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Main Functions:
  • Assemble electro-mechanical components, including circuit boards, wiring, and mechanical housings.

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

  • Working with solder, components, winding coils, cable wire, chassis assembly, mechanical assembly, and tools.

  • Inspecting assemblies for good/bad solder joints and resistances.

  • Working with provided documentation.

  • Understanding and properly using materials provided by process engineering to perform the job and make sure that all equipment is running properly and safely on a daily basis.

  • Immediately notifying the lead in the event that any equipment is malfunctioning.

  • Performing all required preventative maintenance and maintenance for the machine’s operation and documents per our “Good Documentation Practices Procedure” on the proper logs.

  • Maintaining a clean work area.

  • Performing proficiently at a quality standard set by the company’s mission and commitment statement.

Additional Functions:
  • Associate will be required to take all appropriate training classes as required.

  • Willingness to cross-train into other departments.

Pay Details:

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour
