Mechanical Assembly Associate
Location:
Plano, TX
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
Monday - Friday | 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous electro‑mechanical assembly or PCB manufacturing experience preferred
- Minimum 6 months of mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good attendance and teamwork skills
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident
- Frequent use of hands and assembly tools
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
- Assemble electro‑mechanical components, wiring, circuit boards, and mechanical housings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform soldering, cable wiring, coil winding, chassis assembly, and mechanical assembly tasks
- Inspect assemblies for solder quality, resistance levels, and overall functionality
- Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and document work accurately
- Notify leads of equipment malfunctions or production concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Cross‑train in additional departments as needed
