Position: DC Powered Equipment Opr Shift 2
2nd shift

Hours:

2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday
- Friday

Job Summary

The Powered Equipment Operator is responsible for safely handling and maneuvering Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift or other machinery within the DC.

Key

Roles & Responsibilities :

* Promptly moves pallets and other items needing movement to assigned dock doors as directed by DC Personnel

* Operates all machinery in a safe manner at all times

* Performs daily check of machinery

* Reports any mechanical irregularities to DC Managers at once

* Performs all duties in a safe, accurate and timely manner

* Maintains a clean work area at all times

* Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations

* Conducts other duties as required and assigned

* Assists in other warehouse functions as directed

Qualifications &

Competencies:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalency

* Minimum 1 year of related experience a plus

* Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals

* Must be able to pass equipment certification test and show proficiency in driving equipment

* Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

* Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment (cold & heat)

* Some overtime required including weekend work
