Product Specialist – Home Appliances
Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances, located in Plano, TX. The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product launch plans, and ensure the product meets quality expectations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are ready for launch and complete all projects/tasks within schedule.
- Evaluate new model concepts, functions, and design for quality improvement before mass production.
- Collaborate with HQ and factories to ensure the new products are ready for launch, confirm that they meet all requirements, including product evaluation, user trial, and training.
- Data-based quality sensing with primary focus on Annual Service Rate analysis for Home Appliance product improvement.
- Analyze, evaluate, and test various Home Appliance Product Categories' top symptoms and issues that drive high Redo, identify root cause and corrective actions with internal teams, HQ, and Factories.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of product development or management process and experience with home appliance-related field (3-5 2-4years)
- Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and product design
- Experience with quality analysis, product testing, and validation
- Proficient w/Excel, PPT & computer savvy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Skills:
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual preferred – English and Korean.
