Time Study Technician
As a Time Study Technician, you will be responsible for conducting detailed time and motion studies across the manufacturing floor. You will follow the complete life cycle of a board, from the start of manufacturing through final shipping. This role requires you to spend approximately 95% of your working time on the production floor, observing operations and collecting data. You will use a stopwatch and other appropriate methods to accurately measure process and cycle times, study how much time is spent at each stage, and enter and organize data into Excel spreadsheets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed time and motion studies across the manufacturing floor.
- Follow the complete life cycle of a board from manufacturing to final shipping.
- Observe and evaluate each process end-to-end.
- Use a stopwatch and other methods to accurately measure process and cycle times.
- Study the time spent at each manufacturing stage.
- Spend approximately 95% of working time on the production floor collecting data.
- Accurately record measurements and observations.
- Enter and organize time-study data into Excel spreadsheets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience conducting time studies, cycle-time analysis, process studies, or manufacturing observations.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, process improvement, operations, or production.
- Experience with data analysis and Excel reporting.
Work Environment
The work environment is primarily on the production floor, where you will spend around 95% of your time observing operations and collecting data. The facility is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
