Join our aerospace manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist and play a vital role in producing high-quality, precision-engineered components that support critical applications. In this role, you'll work with advanced CNC equipment, interpret technical drawings, program and optimize machining operations, and help ensure every part meets the stringent standards our customers expect.

Position is located at our corporate headquarters in Plano, TX.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate CNC machines and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain acceptable reject and production rates.
  • Verify part compliance using calipers and micrometers.
  • Read blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine required materials and dimensions.
  • Select and set up appropriate machines (e.g., lathes), position and load materials, and handle fixtures, jaws, chucks, spindles, collets, pads, and bar feeder inputs.
  • Plan the sequence of steps for assignments, including programming input or corrections.
  • Determine and program batch sizes and machine speeds.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience on a CNC lathe/mill

Education:

High school diploma/GED required. Technical school degree or certificate preferred

Computer

Skills:
  • Proficiency in CNC machine programming (G-code, M-code).
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Mastercam, or Autodesk Fusion).
  • Ability to operate CNC machine digital interfaces, set parameters, and input production data.
  • Basic computer literacy for file management, data entry, and use of standard office software (e.g., Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to use digital measurement tools and quality control software.
