Vice President, Marketing (Vacation Rental Division)

The Vice President of Marketing for the Vacation Rental Division is responsible for setting and executing the marketing strategy across Inhabit's portfolio of short‑term rental brands, including Streamline, Bluetent, Rental Guardian, Lynnbrook, Rev Max, and iTrip. This senior marketing leader establishes the brand and demand generation strategy across the brands in partnership with Product, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership.

In addition to brand and demand generation strategy ownership, the VP, Marketing will play a critical role in shaping and advancing AI‑driven marketing strategy and thought leadership for the Vacation Rental division. The role focuses on identifying, operationalizing, and communicating how artificial intelligence enhances product capabilities, customer outcomes, and internal marketing effectiveness. The role must understand where AI creates real value across personalization, automation, analytics, pricing, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.

Overall, this role owns integrated marketing strategy, brand and product positioning, demand generation, lifecycle marketing, and execution of marketing activity associated with product go‑to‑market strategies.

Key Responsibilities Brand & Portfolio Strategy
  • Serve as the steward for brand clarity and consistency across all Vacation brands while recognizing distinct audiences and value propositions.
  • Guide messaging frameworks that clearly articulate how Inhabit solutions work together across the Vacation Rental lifecycle (operations, distribution, risk, revenue).
  • Balance near‑term performance needs with long‑term brand equity and platform adoption goals.
  • Reposition brands as needed to be industry‑leading platforms and services utilizing AI to increase value for our customers.
Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
  • Own demand generation strategy across all Vacation brands and channels including paid search and social, organic, lifecycle, partner, events and trade shows, and sales‑assisted channels.
  • Maintain full ownership of the marketing budget, ensuring spend is allocated strategically across brands, channels, and initiatives to maximize pipeline and revenue impact.
  • Define, track, and optimize against core performance KPIs, including but not limited to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL), Cost per Click (CPC), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), funnel conversion rates across all channels and stages, meetings booked, sales‑accepted leads, and monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and pipeline contribution from marketing.
  • Establish clear demand targets by brand and segment, aligned with company growth goals and sales capacity.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations leadership to ensure alignment between demand generation programs, lead quality, conversion performance, and close rates.
  • Build scalable measurement frameworks and reporting cadences that provide clarity and transparency to executive leadership on performance, ROI, and areas for optimization.
  • Continuously test, refine, and improve channel mix, messaging, audience targeting, and spend efficiency based on performance data and market feedback.
Leadership, Team Management & Executive Partnership
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary remote marketing organization spanning marketing automation, demand generation, content, paid media, social, events, partnerships, and marketing operations.
