We are looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to turn marketing plans into campaigns and programs that are built well, launched correctly, tracked reliably, and continually improved.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows Hub Spot, understands how marketing campaigns work, and enjoys getting the details across the finish line. You’ll build nurture programs, workflows, emails, lists, landing pages, forms, campaign tracking, and other marketing infrastructure.
Just as importantly, we’re looking for a marketer at heart—not simply a systems administrator. You should be able to recognize when a CTA could be stronger, tighten an email subject line, catch an audience or nurture issue, and take work from 90% complete through final execution.
THE ROLE
You will be a key Hub Spot power user for Marketing, independently building and maintaining marketing automation while helping improve an environment with some historical tech debt.
You’ll also connect Marketing with our Business Systems team. Salesforce is an important part of our ecosystem, but you will not administer it. Instead, you’ll help identify and resolve issues involving lead flow, lifecycle stages, data, tracking, and the Hub Spot/Salesforce connection.
You’ll ensure Marketing activity and lead data are captured accurately and reported reliably through basic reports and dashboards.
This is primarily an execution role rather than a strategy role. You’ll often receive the campaign strategy, audience, content, and desired outcome from another member of Marketing. Your job is to turn that direction into a polished, functioning marketing program—and stay with it until it works.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as a primary Hub Spot power user, building and maintaining workflows, nurture programs, lists, segmentation, forms, landing pages, emails, campaigns, and automation.
- Build, test, QA, launch, and monitor campaigns and nurture programs, including workflow logic, enrollment, suppression, lifecycle stages, and exit criteria.
- Troubleshoot workflow, campaign, tracking, automation, and data issues through resolution.
- Partner with Business Systems on the Hub Spot/Salesforce connection, including lead routing, lifecycle stages, field mapping, data synchronization, and marketingtosales handoffs.
- Ensure Marketinggenerated leads are properly captured, attributed, tracked, and handed off to Sales.
- Build and maintain basic reports and dashboards for lead generation, sources, campaign activity, and funnel progression.
- Execute campaigns from established plans and make smart execution level improvements to copy, subject lines, CTAs, and the customer experience.
- QA the complete prospect experience before launch and identify issues before they affect performance.
- Create repeatable processes, templates, documentation, and standards that make Marketing more efficient.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, demand generation, email marketing, or a related role. Exceptional handson Hub Spot capability may substitute for some experience.
- Strong handson experience with Hub Spot Marketing & Content Hub, including independently building workflows and marketing automation.
- Experience building emails, nurture campaigns, segmentation, forms, landing pages, and other digital campaign components.
- Understanding of lead management, lifecycle stages,…
