Ministry Assistant – Children’s Ministry St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish

The Catholic Community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is seeking a welcoming, organized, and faith-filled individual to support our Children’s Ministry and parish Print Shop operations.

This Ministry Assistant position assists with Faith Formation programs, sacramental preparation, volunteer coordination, family communication, website updates, and print shop management. Some evening and weekend hours are required.

Core Duties and

Responsibilities Include:

• Utilize Parish Management Systems to register families in Children’s Faith Formation programs and maintain program records.
• Facilitate the Children’s Liturgy of Word session every other Sunday.
• Edit/maintain Children’s Ministry and VBS web pages.
• Collect documents, record sacraments and produce sacramental certificates for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
• Assist with volunteer coordination.
• Manage the Print Shop functions by maintaining paper supplies, interfacing with the copier service vendor and making copies.

Qualified candidates must be practicing Catholics in full communion with the Church, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, and possess at least 3 years of administrative office experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision are required. The ideal candidate must have the ability to learn/master Church Management Software as well as be proficient in MS 365 products.

Faith Formation experience and a college degree is preferred.
