• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, either independently or in partnership with physicians based on your credentialing
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice
• Involvement in patient follow-ups and chronic care initiatives
• Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to achieve this within 90 days)

• Strong clinical judgement paired with empathetic patient interaction
