Job Details- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse / Travel RN
- Location: Plano, TX 75075 (Dallas–Fort Worth area)
- Unit: Burn Trauma ICU (C Tower, 3rd Floor)
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nursing)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026 – End: 4/6/2026)
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per pay period
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1460 - $1540
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state) — required for Texas nursing jobs
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience;
Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU experience preferred - Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU units as needed
- BSN and CCRN preferred
- BLS required; ACLS and other critical care certifications a plus
- Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to support colleagues in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver exceptional critical care nursing in a 30-bed Burn Trauma ICU
- Perform advanced wound care, assist with surgical and burn procedures, and manage complex dressings
- Respond to codes, participate in massive transfusion protocols (MTP), and manage EVDs
- Utilize advanced critical care equipment and monitor hemodynamic status for trauma and burn patients
- Document care and interventions using Meditech EMR; maintain accurate clinical records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, PCTs, physicians, and leadership to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Support a positive, team-based work environment and contribute to best practices in trauma and burn care
- Experience high-acuity trauma and burn nursing in a top-tier facility
