Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro Telemetry Full Time Days

Work hours: Full-time | 36 Hours / Week | Days shift | 7am – 7pm
Neuro Telemetry Department Highlights- 25 Bed unit that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
- Nurses improve quality of care for neuro tele patients such as scoliosis, post neuro surgeries, and stroke with multiple comorbidities.
- Fast-Paced, high-volume department
- The professional nurse exhibits an understanding of basic human needs.
- The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of the patient’s affiliations.
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
- BSN preferred
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support and ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Req
- RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assess the patient
- Plan the care of the patient
- Intervene as appropriate
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporate age‑specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiate action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information
- Maintain continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and while expediting out‑of‑hospital transfers.
