LVN; Licensed Vocational Nurse

Accel at Willow Bend, Plano, TX offers opportunities for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) with supervisory experience.

As an LVN, you will participate in and direct patient care following clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will ensure the highest quality services in a customer‑service‑friendly environment.

You will play a key role in creating a positive resident experience by providing quality compassionate healthcare and helping deliver superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services that meet the wants, needs, and expectations of our patients and residents.

$2500 sign‑on bonus.

10pm to 6am, 4 on 2 off.

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes and coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees and monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluates staff performance and institutes appropriate disciplinary training.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
• Investigates and documents accidents and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current, valid licensure as an LVN in the state of practice.
• Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
