Work location: 2100 Hedgecoxe Rd Ste 100, Plano TX 75025

Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday - Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm;
Friday 8:00am-2:00pm

Here’s What You Need Education
  • Accredited school of practical nursing program (Required)
Experience
  • One year of experience (Preferred)
  • Previous Internal Medicine or Family Practice experience (Strongly Preferred)
  • Spanish Bilingual (Strongly Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
  • LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse (Required)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
What You Will Do
  • Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures. May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.
  • Collect patient data such as vital signs, note how the patient looks and acts or responds to stimuli and report this information accordingly.
  • Prepare and administer injections, perform routine tests, treat wounds and change bandages.
  • Prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
  • Administer certain prescribed medications and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
  • Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
  • Convey information to patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Participate in teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes
