YourResponsibilities Will Include
- Undertaking comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized treatment plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health issues in partnership with physicians or independently, depending on credentialing
- Guiding patients and their families in prevention strategies, health maintenance, and disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care coordination
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment paired with a caring demeanor
- Outstanding communication capabilities with patients, families, and medical staff
