This travel RN position in a high-achieving surgical setting offers exceptional exposure to advanced cardiovascular, orthopedic, oncology, and bariatric care. Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• Variable shifts; 36 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call requirements apply
• Weekend requirements discussed during interview

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Texas (no temporary licenses)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Day Surgery/OR environments
• Documented experience with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Proficiency in preparing patients for surgery
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
• Preferred:
  Experience with Meditech documentation system

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assess patients for surgical procedures
• Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively; provide age-appropriate care
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ancillary departments
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility policy
