Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you'll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you'll build meaningful relationships and witness the difference your care makes in a patient's progress. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Administering medications and treatments, monitoring responses, and reporting changes promptly

* Assisting with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence

* Monitoring vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly

* Documenting progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination

* Educating and supporting patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques

* Working closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care

What qualifications you will need:

* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
* (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse

* Vocational School Graduate

* 1+ year of LVN experience required

Medical City Plano opened in 1975 and provides Plano and Collin County with advanced health care. Medical City Plano is a 600+ bed acute care hospital. We have more than 2,000 employees and over 1,400 physicians on staff. Our main campus in Plano has a cancer treatment center and cardiovascular programs.
