Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary

Travel RN position for ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Plano, Texas. Assignment: 13 weeks, starting June 8, 2026, 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.

• Provide critical care nursing care to ICU patients on night shifts.
• Maintain 2:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio.
• Perform procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions.
• Document patient care using Meditech system.

• Minimum 2 years of general hospital experience.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU specialty experience.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• Active RN license (temporary license not accepted).

• Meditech documentation experience
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
• TCRN (Trauma Certified Registered Nurse)

• Scrub color:
  Royal blue.
• Nail policy:
  Clean, no artificial nails or gels.
• Hair:
  Neat, clean, no extreme styles or colors; pulled back if shoulder length or longer.
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
• Piercings:
  Visible piercings other than ears prohibited.
