Plano, TX Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Accel at Willow Bend is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work the 8‑hour shift from 2pm to 10pm (4 on, 2 off). The CNA will provide personal care, assist the charge nurse, and support a multidisciplinary team in long‑term and rehabilitative care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of residents’ status at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as required to maintain a hazard‑free environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
