We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our healthcare team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and other infusion therapies, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects during and after infusion therapy.
  • Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and symptom evaluation, before, during, and after treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments, observations, and patient responses.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe treatment environment.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families coping with cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in oncology or infusion therapy.
  • Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or Infusion Nursing (CRNI) is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of chemotherapy agents, side effects, and emergency management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Compassionate approach to patient care with strong attention to detail.

This position is based in our outpatient infusion center located in Plano, TX. The role requires standing for extended periods and the ability to handle medical equipment safely.
