Position: RN Nursing Manager, OR. Shift: Full-time, Day, 06:30am – 15:00pm Monday through Friday, weekends and call TBD.

Experience:

Must be certified RNFA with a minimum of 3 years' experience and performing endovascular vein harvesting.

As the Nurse Operating Room Manager, the professional creates a supportive work environment for staff and unit personnel. This emphasizes professional nursing practice, teamwork, collaboration, and patient‑focused care. The manager plans, develops, and implements policies. They assess and track procedures. They oversee budgets and resources. Additionally, they manage quality initiatives and educational programs. They serve on governance councils to achieve goals.

• You will establish and share your vision for nursing practices within the unit.
• Work closely with supervisors and nursing staff to reach department goals. Teamwork is key in achieving success.
• Prioritize a positive work environment, ensuring the establishment of effective processes and protocols, fostering best nursing practices and research.
• Encourage the growth of each team member, facilitate their professional development in both clinical skills and leadership capabilities.
• Stay informed on new nursing research, best practices, and patient care models.
• Act as a proactive problem solver, identifying and addressing any ethical or clinical issues that may arise.

• Familiarity and proficiency in nursing procedures and patient care standards.
• Knowledge of regulations, laws, and rules, as well as certification and accreditation guidelines. Familiarity with hospital standards and department policies related to nursing care.
• Basic computer skills are essential, including office software, information security, scheduling/payroll systems, patient record management, and email use.

• BSN RN
• Must be certified RNFA with minimum of three years' prior experience in a relevant role.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) or ability to obtain within thirty days of hire is essential.
