Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will provide essential care during surgical procedures, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in a fast-paced environment. The role entails collaborating with surgical teams, maintaining patient safety, and assisting with the administration of anesthesia. This position requires proficiency in various surgical specialties, particularly in Orthopedics, Neuro/Spine, Robotics, Plastics, and Trauma.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor and maintain patient safety during surgical procedures.
• Assist in the administration of anesthesia and surgical preparations.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Previous experience in an Operating Room setting is required.
• Familiarity with surgical procedures in Orthopedics, Neuro/Spine, Robotics, Plastics, and Trauma.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
