CV/CT Surgery First Assist Nurse Practitioner | Ongoing Locums Job and Great Location in Texas

• Texas License required
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Seeking candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery experience
• Vein Harvesting not required
• Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Weekday call approximately once per week;
  Weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend
• Surgical:
  Serve as First Assist in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Preoperative and postoperative patient management
• 1-2 cardiovascular surgery cases per day, depending on call coverage
