Registered Nurse – Oncology

$1591.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a busy surgical oncology unit. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered support while managing complex treatments and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor patient responses.
• Manage chest tubes, NG tubes, and Foley catheters with precision and care.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and attendance requirements.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
• Support patient comfort through empathetic communication and assessment.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 1 year of oncology nursing experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in medication administration and patient monitoring.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
• Experience with chemotherapy and IV insertion preferred.
